The Randstad 2020 Talent Trends Report – Unlock Human Potential In A Perfect Storm Of Technology identifies the 10 talent trends in 2020 to assist organizations in improving their talent acquisition processes.

Some main findings from this research include:

  • Nearly 70% of organizations expect growth in the next year; more than half of them will substantially increase their recruitment and more than 70% of them believe that political situation will have positive effects on their recruitment programs.
  • The majority of surveyed professionals agreed that people analytics has an important role in their talent acquisition and retention processes. More than 70% of them claimed that HRTech is improving the efficiency of their decision making process. At the same time, over 20% of them reported that implementing people analytics is the top challenge for them.
  • Less than half of organizations still have concerns about digital transformation. Organizations that have mature digital processes are more preferable by job seekers. More than half of the organizations surveyed also plan to invest more in acquiring HR tech talents and nearly 80% of them are picking up more digital skillsets to improve business expansion.
  • 47% of surveyed organizations claimed to have been spending more money in predictive analytics for recruitment and more than half of them are increasing expenses for supportive HR digital professionals. 60% of working professionals believe that it would be easier for them to get better jobs if they had digital knowledge.
  • Most surveyed executives agreed that it is crucial to have in place a good candidate experience and a majority of them are working to enhance this in their processes. To achieve this, more than half of them is going to utilize new instruments and find assistance from outsourced services.
  • More than 70% of surveyed organizations believed that technology has simplified their processes and increase the efficiency. Among different analytics tools, talent analytics, CRM, assessments, onboarding systems and recruitment marketing are the most invested instruments.
